Right-click the picture of the sims download in Origin. i bought the disc hard copy from target, so why do i even need to be online to install anways? that aside, i am online, but it keeps giving me that message and i've been trying for 2 days and it's quite frustrating. I'm having the same problem, it keeps saying i'm offline and won't allow me to install the game. Btw you may have to restart before Origin will work. I'm so damn happy right now it's not funny. I have no idea why it worked, but it got origin working. Next is to disable firewall, then try opening Origin again. Pull the level to the down position Never Notify and click the OK button.
